UK - diving head first into a depression

It just gets uglier. Today, the ONS released January UK production data. The index is down 11.4 percent compared to January 2008.

the faster we fall the quicker we hit the bottom and the sooner we bounce.

This is not how the great depression looked in the UK, where we had consistent falls over a long period.

This looks more like 1974 or 81
