There is a wonderful and woefully under reported scandal in Massachusetts. Elizabeth Warren - the Democratic candidate in the upcoming Senate race - claimed to be part Native American when she made her Harvard Law School application. The problem, however, is that there is very little documentary evidence of her Native American heritage. Mark Steyn in the NRO takes up the story here....
It is sad. The woman is enormously talented, so why did she feel that she needed to make a dubious claim in order to get into Law School.
Actually, I think it says more about Harvard than her.
