The Wall Street Journal loves me!

Alen Mattich gave me a complementary mention in the Wall Street Journal's: The Best Economics Blogs. My blog was one of only two UK blogs to get cited. OK, I am half way down the page, but I come before Paul Krugman.

It was a bit of a surprise, but thank you - I sincerely appreciate the compliment!

"I come before Paul Krugman." So I should hope. But don't set the bar so low next year.

You certainly should be ahead of Krugman - no question.

The other British lady who could have been in there might be Joan Robinson: “The purpose of studying economics is not to acquire a set of ready-made answers to economic questions, but to learn how to avoid being deceived by economists.”

You've done really well considering you only started the blog going again a few weeks ago. I'd checked every couple of months or so after September 2009 and assumed you must be dead.

I really should use the spellchecker more often.

Hi Alice,

Good to see you're back!

Do you mean complementary or complimentary?

The latter would be most appropriate. Well done you.

Just watch for the UK property price to go below trend this year!

Blessings,
