More evidence of tightening labour markets

I think we can see a clear trend in the number of unfilled vacancies. Since the beginning of the year, the trend is definitely downwards. It is more evidence of an approaching recession.

Excuse the predictable question, but what happens when you subtract all those worthless public sector jobs.

For a long time the US BLS numbers have been massaged by creating makework government jobs and we know Brown isn't above that.
