Estate agent tortures boss

Why does this story not surprise me:

"An estate agent who hatched a brutal revenge plot against her boss after being sacked has been jailed for 10 years. Ambreen Gul, 23, lured Waqas Malik to her flat where he was tortured and ordered to raise a £200,000 ransom or be killed with his son. She had recruited another sacked colleague and two other thugs to make him pay for her dismissal.

Mr Malik, 48, was kicked, punched and pistol whipped repeatedly. Judge Deborah Taylor told Gul she had been motivated by "revenge and greed".

This particular estate agent got bored with tormenting first time buyers and turned on her boss.

Barely registers on my give-a-crap-o-meter. But it IS funny.

Alas this housing 'boom' has helped to coarsen all of us in some way or another.

It was the background music to credit funded avarice and (along with Premiership football) it was used as a 'feel good' diversion from Nu Lab's meddlings and the outrage that is unfettered and uncontrolled immigration.

My ire is essentially with the television programmers and presenters who hyped the property market so incessantly on TV - turning homes and communities into commodities. I truely hope those bastards have over extended their property portfolios - that would be sweet.
