Currently, I am getting about 150 hits a day.

Naturally, I would like my blog traffic to take off like a housing bubble. However, I don't think too many people here in the UK want to listen to a message that says their houses are wildly overvalued and that within a year or so, we will be staring at a housing crash.

Overall, I feel like the blog is wandering in the wilderness.

AliceAlice Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05753570123987780947noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2948538160252327076.post-38666642401967017292007-06-27T23:41:00.000+01:002007-06-27T23:41:00.000+01:00Yip, that's a good'un.But why not link sources for...Yip, that's a good'un.

But why not link sources for each assertion? There's a shitload of them out there on the intertubes.

Is your traffic getting heavier?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2948538160252327076.post-56695290422075499382007-06-27T10:04:00.000+01:002007-06-27T10:04:00.000+01:00An astonishly good summary of the insanity of targ...An astonishly good summary of the insanity of targeting CPI/core 'inflation'. The only point I'd make is that I'm not sure that a massive influx of undurable cheap tat kept living standards high.

We'd be much happier buying good quality locally grown food and better quality durable goods but simply consuming much less volume of stuff. Landfill and an obesity epidemic show how a diet of cheap rubbish isn't good for us or the planet.

As you say, the 'greenspan put' of August 2005 looks criminal. I think this also had a profound psychological effect. Those who thought our Central Bank and the guv'mint 'wouldn't let a crash happen' seemed totally vindicated and the party was restarted...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
