US housing starts increase

True, you need a microscope to see it, but US housing starts increased in June.

Hands up anyone who thinks this looks like a sustainable recovery? What, no hands?

Why would one assume that the latest wiglet is more significant than all the previous excursions, which BTW are larger and also happened during "the good times"??

V shaped recovery. Right? Probably wishful thinking. Yes.. we are seeing a slight up tick in some markets. But it could be seasonal to summer time. Come September... (1) slow season for RE (2) Shadow inventory from banks may start coming out.

Hands up anyone who doesn't know that buying during dips in long term secular growth markets is a good investment strategy?
