UK home repossessions

Will repossessions from today's crash exceed the 1992 peak?

Yes.

We are in the lull before the storm, since the current
massive attempt to reflate is ameliorating the shrinkage of the economy but can only be tried once. In a while, the long slow slide will resume - lots more repossessions, long term rising unemployment, interest rates up to five or six percent to avoid a collapse in the pound , long term misery for those with large debts.
