Alice: "Another rich guy complaining about paying too much tax."
I am beginning to wonder where all these 'rich guys' are working.
Apart from ministers in the government or Lords in the House of Lords, or the Kinnock, who seem to have made themselves obscenely wealthy at the tax payers expense, or the CEO of the local authority, and the 'Health service apparatchnik, not forgetting the BBC, who seem to have an awful lot of very highly paid people.
Alice, where else are these rich people, and by the way, when do you become rich?
Isn't it time, in true Gilbert and Sullivan style, isn't it time we made a little list?
Good grief Alice. Don't you think you're being a tad melodramatic? A whole 45 seconds out of nearly 5 minutes was talking tax. The remainder was the CBI's usual "please be nice to business" message and what's wrong with that?

It that same old song. The rich need to pay less tax to make the rest of us richer.
It never made much sense to me.
> Another rich guy complaining about paying too much tax.
It doesn't make him wrong. The state extorts FAR too much money and levies taxes to do so in the most economically (and thus socially) damaging way.
RF,
Here's HOW it makes sense. The government is a less efficient spender of money.
If the government spends money rahter than the people who earned it do then the economy will be less efficient and we'll be poorer.
Jealousy as economic policy (Marxism) has been tested to failure many many times.

Would any of them be missed?

AC: "Another rich guy .."
What do you mean by rich?
Do you mean - earns over £40K per year?
Do you mean - earning 100K per year?
Do you mean an individual earns over £150 a year and has a net worth of £1,000,000?
What do you mean by 'rich'?
Alice means he is richer than her and hence she hates him.
